      The Cumberland Theatre is part of the Schauspiel Hannover.

      Die Cumberlandsche Bühne wird nicht nur für Theaterstücke, sondern auch für Lesungen genutzt.

      The Cumberland Theatre opened in October 2009. It has around 170 seats and is a new venue for modern drama, special projects and adaptations. The historic staircase in the Cumberland Gallery is still used for small productions.
