Culinary Delights at the Maschseefest: A Global Gourmet Journey
The Maschseefest has firmly established itself as a paradise for food lovers, boasting gastronomic oases spread across 20,000 square meters. With its international cuisine ranging from Oriental to Mexican, Asian to Scandinavian, and even Hanseatic, the festival promises exclusive, exotic, and traditional delights that take visitors on a culinary world tour. Recognized by the international travel portal "Big 7 Travel" in 2022 as the 9th best summer festival for food enthusiasts, the Maschseefest is the only festival in Germany to make it into the top ten of this prestigious list.
Northwest and West Shores
In the northwest, the RADIO 21 Lounge offers refreshing drinks with a stunning view of the northern shore. At Waldkater meets Spain on the west shore, guests can enjoy a variety of tapas and other Spanish specialties.
Continuing past the SeeBiergarten with Reimanns Grill, and Bolero Island, where cool mixed drinks are served to the tunes of a DJ, visitors arrive at the northern shore:

Traditional and International Specialties
The Bear-Strong Lighthouse Corner is a beloved spot for beer and grill specialties. Welcome to Miami serves up refined burgers, hot dogs, and fresh bowls.
AL-DAR brings the rich flavors of Syrian cuisine, complemented by quality wines from Lebanon in an enchanting Oriental atmosphere. Next door, Tulum tempts visitors with Mexican treats, Latin American music, and a vibrant fiesta atmosphere. The StrandAlm blends a historic alpine hut with a beach setting, offering German dishes with beer garden classics and both alpine and northern German specialties. Su-shin presents an array of sushi, including maki, nigiri, special rolls, sashimi, and hot sushi rolls, while the heimW-Bar serves delicious drinks and cocktails.
Lindenblatt goes Maschseefest: In collaboration with Aresto, this stand stylishly merges the best from the 800 Grad and Lindenblatt restaurants. The tradition of Aresto’s stand continues with exquisite wines and popular wine evenings. At WATERKANT – Madsack SeeSalon, the menu features specialties from the German coast, complete with fine coastal wines.
North and East Shores
At the Rudolf-von-Bennigsen-Ufer, one of the oldest dining and entertainment venues on Hamburg's Reeperbahn, the Hamborger Veermaster, invites guests to savor labskaus or pickled herring and dance by the lake. The adjacent Scandinavian fishing village offers a range of delicacies, from flame-grilled salmon to fried fish and vegetarian dishes, in colorful, typical houses.
Continuing to the newly redesigned Food Village East at Geibel, visitors can indulge in a variety of street food offerings.
South and West Shores
Towards Löwenbastion, the Pier Garten is an ideal stop for a cold beer and other refreshments. At Strandwärts Halfway House, guests can enjoy drinks in beach loungers, paired with a creative selection of gourmet dishes from SupperClub 34, all in a cozy lounge atmosphere.
Streetfood at the Lake offers a culinary journey around the Löwenbastion with various global food options, including different pulled pork creations, a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan products, and unique offerings. Next, visitors can enjoy Irish folk music with cider and ale, local craft beers, and extensive traditional dishes.
Music and Food
In the southwest, the Music Park at Maschseequelle reopens, offering a program of food and drinks alongside its musical lineup. The Food Village West features a colorful mix of stalls with oriental and Asian specialties, pizza, falafel, churros, and ice cream rolls "to go" for a quick bite by the lake.
