Hola Utopia!

Hola Utopia! has brought international artists to the city for large-scale murals.

Large mural in the northern part of the city for Hola Utopia 2020

"Hola Utopia!"  is a socio-cultural street art festival with content on an "eco-future vision" suitable for grandchildren. Dreary house walls are transformed into a gallery for painted utopias. While all citizens of the city were able to participate in the brainstorming process, the international artists spread the designs across the city as large-scale murals.

This year's participating artists and venues are as follows:
Nasca One (Berlin / Peru) Spielpark Tiefenriede / Haspelfelder Weg 10 / 30173 H
Lily Brick (Lleida, Spain) Bödeckerstraße 70 / 30161 H (Entrance: Wedekindstr. Gundlach)
Rookie the Weird (Münster) Bornumer Straße 146 / 30453 H
Bierenbrood (Rotterdam, Netherlands) Parkhaus hanova / Mehlstraße 2 / 30159 Hannover
Galleta Maria (Barcelona, Spain) Hainhoelzer Höfe / Helmkestraße 5b / 30165 H
Ferosone and Dilkone (Ukraine) Röttgerstraße 23c / 30451 Hannover

The open-air movie theater at Glocksee-Hof will present several street art documentaries as German premieres this year (Wednesday, September 7, 2022).
