One of Hanover's most popular shopping streets, lined with trees and small stores, always invites you to experience something new.

The Lister Meile stretches from the Hannover-Mitte district, past the main train station, through the Oststadt district, and ends at Lister Platz in the List district. The latter is where the "Meile" gets its name. It is known for its high concentration of shops and restaurants and their diverse offerings. Boutiques and bookstores alternate with long-established stores.

After you've had your fill of shopping in the many stores and enjoyed a meal at one of the restaurants, we recommend taking a walk in the nearby Eilenriede City Forest.
