The Sylt Lounge was the go-to place for delicious fish and meat dishes, tapas, oysters or fish & chips. On the eastern lakefront (Rudolf-von-Benningsen shore), San Francisco / California oozes Americanflair. Burger, Pulled-Pork and Street-Food-Pizza were among the tasty delights on offer here. With a rustic maritime atmosphere, the ‘Hamborger Veermaster’ served traditional Northern German fish dishes such as lobscouse (sailors’ stew) and rolled pickled herring, or Hamburg potato soup with small North Sea shrimps. With delicacies from Neptune’s domain at Gosch-Sylt close to the Geibeltreff visitors could enjoy a real holiday sensation. Spicy Thai noodles, crispy fish burgers or the very traditional potatoes and salmon. New at Geibeltreff: "See-Wirtschaft beim Maschseefest"

If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of the Maschsee Lake Festival, the adjacent Restaurant Clichy was the place to go. The menu newly featured spicy lamb curry and fingerlings from Alsace, but the bouillabaisse and salmon tartare were mouth-watering too. Pier 51 is once again offering its delicious burgers in the Piergarten.
