Here you will find information about Orangerie.

Information in English

Originally, the orangery mainly served as the winter quarters for frost-sensitive plants. The two rooms on the head sides and the hallway on the northern side were used to heat the main hall. Today, the building is a popular location for all sorts of events. First built as a half-timbered construction between 1700 and 1723 by court master builder Johann Christian Böhm, about a hundred years later, Georg Laves had the façade redesigned in classicistic style.
