Hannover celebrates the 300th anniversary of the personal union with Britain. Its cityscape today still features numerous testimonies from that time. This city guide intends to help you discover the many architectural monuments of that remarkable era. Especially the work of court architect Georg Laves (1788-1864) characterises the city to the present day. In front of the respective buildings, you can find posters on the ground or signboards with historic views of the structures.

A tip: the tour can easily be split up into an inner city part and a Herrenhausen part, enough for two days of touring. The Extra Tour buildings are located outside the city center.
