Villa Rosa

Information in English

The classicistic Villa Rosa is the last remaining "garden house" in Hannover today. Built in 1830 after plans by court architect Georg Laves and preliminary designs by court master mason Ernst Ludwig Täntzel, it used to be part of the former garden estate of Glocksee. The estate was located on Glockseestrasse, which was buit around 1700 as a travel way outside the city fortifications that existed around Hannover at the time.
