The "Princess of Pop" is celebrating her 60th birthday and 40 years in the music business with a "Greatest Hits" tour, which brings her to the Capitol Hannover on 7 October.
On 18 November 2020, Kim Wilde turned 60 and – due to Corona one year later than planned – invites all her fans to celebrate her birthday and another anniversary: In 1980, the daughter of musician parents signed her first record deal, which marked the beginning of her impressive career.
Great hits galore
Kim Wilde is looking back on many chart successes, ranging from "Kids in America", the mega-seller at the start of her career in 1981, to "You Came", "Cambodia" and "Anyplace, anywhere, anytime".
Best British singer
At the Brit Awards in 1983 Kim Wilde was awarded Best British Singer. She performed at Michael Jackson's gigantic "Bad" tour in Europe in front of over two million people within five months and played with David Bowie on his legendary "Sound and Vision" tour in 1990. In recent years, Kim Wilde has toured Europe and Australia regularly and continues her popular UK radio show on Magic FM.
The concert was rescheduled from 2 October 2020. Tickets remain valid according to the organizers.
