Furthermore there is the Bankhaus Hallbaum - a branch of Bankhaus M.M.Warburg & CO. The distinctive architecture of the headquarters of Nord/LB make quite an impression on Hannover’s cityscape. The most important credit institutions in the region are the savings banks and credit unions. Sparkasse Hannover bank is one of the biggest credit institutes subject to public law in Germany.
