Dual study programme

Types of dual study programmes

Select Language

There are various types of dual study programmes. A distinction is often made between dual study programmes with an integrated apprenticeship and programmes with integrated practical training.

Dual study programmes with an integrated apprenticeship combine studying with an apprenticeship in a career requiring formal training. This means that in addition to the academic Bachelor degree, students obtain a second recognised professional qualification, a certificate in a profession requiring formal training as certified by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Dual study programmes with integrated practical training combine academic studies with regular internship phases at a company. Academic studies are closely interlinked with practical training at a company.
