Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge

Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge has its headquarters in Hannover, where it also builds its legendary camper van.

Just like Audi, Bentley or Porsche, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge (VWN) is an independent brand within the Volkswagen group. Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge specialises in developing, building and selling light commercial vehicles worldwide, from mobile workshops to taxis and ambulances.

Der ID. BUZZ wird ab 2022 bei VWN in Hannover produziert.

Vehicles include the Transporter, Caddy, Crafter and Amarok series produced in Hannover, Poznan and Wrzesnia (Poland), and Pacheco (Argentina). VWN has more than 24,000 employees at its sites worldwide, of which around 15,000 work in Hannover.

The new ID. BUZZ electric van will also begin to roll off the assembly line at VWN in Hannover in 2022. VWN is also the lead brand for autonomous vehicles in the Volkswagen group and is slated to develop and build special-purpose vehicles such as autonomous taxis and vans in the future.
