Our annual Maschsee Festival is the largest lake festival in Germany—featuring over 200 acts over 19 days.
From July 22 to August 9, 2026, the Maschseefest will open its doors for the 39th time.
International cuisine, live music spanning a wide range of genres, and a unique atmosphere right on the waterfront make this festival a summer highlight. From laid-back lounge evenings to rousing stage shows, the shores of Maschsee offer a diverse program for all ages—giving you that vacation feeling right in the heart of Hannover.
We don't drive out of the city to the lake, we drive in.
It is located right in the center and is available for any time-out, whether sporty or leisurely.
