Privacy policy
General notes
We are pleased to welcome you to our website. We take the protection of your privacy very seriously when it comes to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data in accordance with the data protection provisions of the GDPR, and we want you to feel not only comfortable but, above all, secure here.
The following information provides a brief overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data refers to any information that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which is listed below this text.
Data collection on our website
Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact information in the legal notice section of this website.
How do we collect your data?
You can generally access our website without providing any personal information. If, in specific cases, your name, address, or other personal information is required, you will be notified in advance.
Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us (e.g., by phone, in writing, verbally, or via our contact form). This may include, for example, the information you enter when purchasing tickets in our online store.
Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). The collection of this data takes place automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfillment and processing of your request, booking or order. For this purpose, your data will be passed on to other companies and service providers where necessary. The scope of the data transfer is limited to the necessary minimum. The companies may only use the forwarded data for the transmitted purpose. No other transfer or sale of personal data takes place.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have a right to request the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

The analysis of your browsing behavior is generally anonymous; your browsing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information on this can be found in the following privacy policy.
You can object to this analysis. We will inform you about the objection options in this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

INFOnline GmbH's Scalable Centralized Assessment System
This website contains a web beacon for measuring reach. A web beacon is a tiny graphic embedded in web pages to enable log file recording and analysis, which is then used to generate statistical reports. The web beacons on this site are used for the Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM) provided by INFOnline GmbH.
The Scalable Central Measurement Method is used to determine statistical metrics, specifically to measure reach. Using the embedded tracking pixel, we track whether, when, and by how many users our website was visited, as well as which content was accessed.
The data obtained through the Scalable Central Measurement Method is collected anonymously. To track visitor numbers and recognize website users, either a so-called session cookie is set—that is, a signature is created consisting of various automatically transmitted pieces of information—or alternative methods are used. The IP address of your internet connection is collected and processed only in anonymized form. You are not identified at any time. The storage of SZM cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
You can prevent our website from setting cookies at any time by adjusting the settings in your web browser, thereby permanently opting out of the use of cookies. Adjusting your web browser settings in this way would also prevent INFOnline from setting a cookie on the device you are using. In addition, cookies already set by INFOnline can be deleted at any time using a web browser or other software programs.
You also have the option to object to the collection of data generated by INFOnline in connection with your use of this website, as well as to the processing of such data by INFOnline, and to prevent such collection and processing. To do so, you must click the opt-out button at the link http://optout.ioam.de, which sets an opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie set when you object is stored on your computer system. If the cookies on your system are deleted after you have objected, you must visit the link again and set a new opt-out cookie.
Setting the opt-out cookie may result in the data controller’s website no longer being fully accessible. INFOnline’s current privacy policy is available at https://www.infonline.de/datenschutz/.
Data Processing on Behalf of a Client: The Scalable Central Measurement System (SZM) is operated by INFOnline GmbH, Forum Bonn Nord, Brühler Str. 9, 53119 Bonn, Germany. We have entered into a data processing agreement with INFOnline GmbH and fully comply with the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using the SZM.
To deliver targeted advertising, our contractual partner MADSACK Medien Hannover GmbH & Co. KG uses the following third-party providers to display ads on our website. This is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymous analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
Google AdSense
This website uses Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") for displaying advertisements. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google AdSense uses "cookies," which are text files stored on your computer that enable the analysis of website usage. Google AdSense also uses "web beacons" (invisible images). These web beacons allow information such as visitor traffic on these pages to be tracked.
The information generated by cookies and web beacons regarding the use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. This information may be shared by Google with its contractual partners. However, Google will not associate your IP address with any other data it holds about you.
AdSense cookies are stored in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
You can prevent cookies from being installed by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the purpose stated above.
Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use Google Analytics Remarketing features in conjunction with the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This feature allows you to link the advertising audiences created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device features of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages—tailored to you based on your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., a smartphone)—can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., a tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google Account for this purpose. This allows the same personalized ads to be displayed on any device on which you sign in with your Google Account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by disabling personalized ads in your Google Account; to do so, follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The consolidation of collected data in your Google Account is based solely on your consent, which you can provide to or withdraw from Google (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For data collection processes that are not consolidated in your Google Account (e.g., because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to the consolidation), the collection of data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymized analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
For more information and to view the privacy policy, please visit Google's Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the web browser stores on the user’s computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a unique cookie. These cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out of this use by easily disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
“Conversion cookies” are stored in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, please see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Nugg.ad
nugg.ad offers website operators a technology that makes it possible to deliver interest-based advertising. Interest-based advertising from nugg.ad is useful for advertisers because it increases the effectiveness of advertising. This can reduce the total number of ad placements and you as a user benefit from being shown a smaller amount of advertising, which is also more likely to match your areas of interest than a purely random placement of advertising.
To do this, nugg.ad uses general information based on your internet usage. nugg.ad’s technology tracks internet users’ browsing behavior by storing a cookie in your device’s browser with a lifespan of 26 weeks: This means that the number of web visits across various subject areas is counted. nugg.ad stores aggregated information on usage behavior with a hashed ID in the nugg.ad system; that is, it does not store the specific web addresses you have visited, but rather nugg.ad stores the frequency of use of various subject areas on a per-website basis in a cookie. This general information about your internet usage can be used across websites by the nugg.ad technology.
Sensitive topics such as religion, health, or sexuality are not taken into account. Furthermore, no other data is collected. In particular, nugg.ad never stores information about your name, address, email address, or IP address. Through the use of privacy-friendly technologies and extensive anonymization, nugg.ad has no way of specifically determining the identity of the user currently viewing the website. Directly identifiable personal data is never disclosed to third parties, particularly government agencies or companies.
Special precautions are taken in the nugg.ad system to comply with the principle of data minimization. In particular, an anonymization service operated by an independent party ensures that no user IP addresses enter the nugg.ad system. Special technical and contractual precautions have been taken to ensure that the anonymization protection is not circumvented by nugg.ad employees.
Audience Targeting and Campaign Management
nugg.ad identifies advertising-relevant target groups based on sociodemographic characteristics and product interests, and processes only the statistical patterns derived from the use of online advertising and editorial content.
To ensure you aren’t bombarded with the same ads over and over again—or even feel annoyed—nugg.ad tracks how often you’ve been shown an ad across different campaigns. Once a certain number of ad impressions has been reached, you will no longer be shown any further ads from that campaign.
nugg.ad itself does not deliver any advertising material, but transmits the target group information to ad servers or other platforms involved in the delivery of advertising material. This takes place either in real time through a direct connection to the respective platform or through time-delayed communication. In the first variant, no IDs are used. The second variant requires the one-off synchronization of IDs. Before the ID of another platform enters the nugg.ad system, this ID is completely pseudonymized individually by an independent third party so that nugg.ad cannot draw any conclusions about a specific person from this ID.
Use of "Cookies"
nugg.ad uses cookies. These are stored in the browser of your device (e.g., PC, laptop, smartphone, etc.) and remain active for 26 weeks. Like the ut cookie, the d cookie is used for audience analysis and tracks the number of website visits across various topic areas. The ci cookie stores how often an advertisement was displayed to you. The cookies contain only general information about your internet usage.
The information contained in the cookie does not allow for direct identification of the user. In particular, it is not possible to determine the user’s name, address, or other personally identifiable information. If you are interested in being shown advertising on websites that match your areas of interest, you can give your consent (opt-in) for further topic-based analysis of your usage behavior. If you give your consent, this opt-in cookie will also be stored in the browser of your end device. The storage period is 1 year. If nugg.ad has already stored information in cookies previously placed in your device's browser, setting the opt-in cookie will have the following effect: Your consent extends the lifetime of the cookies already set by nugg.ad to a total of 1 year (calculated from the time these cookies are set). The information stored in the cookies before the opt-in will therefore be retained after your consent and deleted at the end of the lifetime of the cookies, i.e. after a maximum of 1 year.
You have the right to prevent the nugg.ad system from collecting measurement data at any time by exercising your right to object (opt-out). You may also revoke any consent you have already given at any time with future effect. An opt-out is also stored in a cookie on your browser’s device, has a lifespan of 10 years, is named “nuggstopp,” and is set by “nuggad.net.”
Please note that your opt-out preference will no longer be recognized by the system if you clear the cookies in your browser.
You can give your consent or object online on the nugg.ad homepage or on the "My Topic Monitor" page. To do so, please click the corresponding button. The "My Topic Monitor" information page allows you to see how nugg.ad has categorized your browsing behavior. To do this, the aggregated frequency of your usage behavior is read from the cookie in encrypted form and displayed in broad categories. You can find further information on the "My Topic Monitor" page.
Data security
All employees of nugg.ad AG who handle the above-mentioned data are bound to secrecy in accordance with §5 of the Federal Data Protection Act when they take up their duties. nugg.ad also uses technical and organizational security measures to protect data from manipulation, destruction or loss.
