In addition to the fireworks competition, in which a British team is participating, numerous other events in 2014 will bring a touch of British flair to Hanover.

Hanover isn't just the center of the state exhibition—numerous other events are also celebrating the Union Jack.

Attention, please: 2014 will be “very British” in the capital of Lower Saxony! Hanover is the focal point of the state exhibition “Hanover’s Rulers on the English Throne: 1714–1834.” To mark the occasion, numerous events—including concerts and cultural programs, guided tours, and a fireworks display, as well as a specially composed opera, British teatime, a fashion show, equestrian events, and the Garden Festival—will bring a touch of British flair to Hanover.
