A cache in the ‘International Geocaching Mysteries’ series, presenting places in Hannover that offer ‘backdoor globetrotting’!

Hannover’s airport is the largest in the federal state of Lower Saxony.  From here, you can head out all over the world – and, of course, return safely! The tenacity of the pioneering aviators played a major part in making this possible. This cache introduces you to one of the less well-known of them. He made his attempts at flight in and around Hannover and contributed to the development of aviation.
