Coronavirus - What you need to know now (as of April 04, 2022)

Dear Hanover guest,

Arrival and overnight stays in the accommodation establishments are possible without restrictions. Please note that there may be changes at short notice!

What do I have to consider in the hotel?

The hotels have taken appropriate measures to contain the corona virus:
Disinfection of room keys and cards, elevator buttons, door handles, light switches, handrails on stairs at regular intervals, shortened cleaning cycles for sanitary facilities in public areas.
Please wear a medical face mask during check-in/check-out.

Are recreational facilities and museums open?

Leisure facilities and museums are open.
Please note the hygiene measures of the individual facilities as well as a possible mask requirement of the respective institution.

Can I cancel my booked experience package?

You can cancel your booked experience package. In the event of cancellation, our cancellation conditions apply according to our general terms and conditions. The amount of the cancellation costs depends on the time of cancellation.

The cancellation fee is:

-up to the 31st day before departure 10%
-from the 30th to the 21st day before departure 20%
-from the 20th to the 12th day before departure 40%
-from the 11th to the 3rd day before departure 60%
-from the 3rd day of the start of the trip and if the trip is not started 90% of the trip price.

What happens if the event is canceled?

If your booked event is canceled, we will inform you in good time and will cancel your booked experience package free of charge.
In this case, we are happy to offer you a free rebooking to another date.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to make use of the hotel accommodation without the event program.

With our experience packages, we indicate whether the included service (e.g. a visit to a show in the GOP) is a 2G, 2G + or 3G event. You will receive further information with your booking. In general, from December 1, 2021, only those who have been vaccinated and recovered with an additional daily negative test will have access to events in closed rooms (2G + regulation). There is no additional test requirement for people who have already been boosted (3rd vaccination).

If other measures or conditions apply after booking, we will inform you in good time.

None of the measures mentioned are currently required.

Which adventure packages are offered?

You can find an overview of our adventure packages here. Book your experience package with a visit to the international fireworks competition, tickets for city tours, a visit to the adventure zoo, the Maschsee Festival or participation in an event. Our offers are updated regularly and additional experience packages are added.

How can I book an experience package?

You can book or inquire about the experience packages directly in our online shop.

How do I pay for the experience package I have booked?

When booking an adventure package, you will receive an invoice from us. Payment is made by bank transfer. For short-term bookings, payment is made by credit card or PayPal.

What should I do if I have not received any feedback after the request / booking?

You will receive a response from us within 48 hours. Please also check your spam folder or contact us by email or phone.

Which hotels can I book as part of an experience package?

The offer of the respective hotel depends on the chosen experience package and availability. You can choose a hotel directly in the online shop.

Is breakfast included with the overnight stay?

Yes, all adventure packages include breakfast in the hotel.

Can additional nights be booked?

We would be happy to extend your experience in Hanover with additional overnight stays. The prices for the additional night depend on the respective package. Select your desired travel period in our online shop and the price for additional nights will be calculated automatically.

Are special family packages offered?

We offer different adventure packages for families. Visit, for example, the adventure zoo or Sea Life. Overnight stays in family rooms are especially for families.

Can I combine the desired experience package with other modules?

You are welcome to individually expand your booked experience package with our experience modules.

Are parking spaces available at the hotels?

In general, all partner hotels provide parking spaces, these are mostly chargeable. The costs depend on the hotel. Please note that parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance.

Can I buy a voucher for an experience package?

Yes, please send us an email with the name of the experience package you want. You can also order the voucher by phone. You will receive the voucher after receipt of payment. The vouchers are valid for 3 years. Alternatively, you can order selected vouchers directly in the shop.

Can I cancel or rebook an experience package?

The amount of the cancellation fee depends on the cancellation date. Please note our terms and conditions. Rebooking to another date is possible in connection with a rebooking fee.

Are there barrier-free rooms?

We work with hotels that offer barrier-free rooms. If a barrier-free room is required, please indicate this when booking.

Is the tourist information open?

The tourist information at the main train station is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Your protection and that of our employees remains our top priority. We therefore continue to recommend wearing an FFP2 mask.

Are the shops in Hanover open?

The shops are open. Please note the in-house hygiene instructions and a possible mask requirement in the shop.

Is the gastronomy open in Hanover?

The gastronomy in Hanover is open. Please note the in-house hygiene instructions and a possible mask requirement in the restaurant.
