Exciting stories and secrets on a tour through Hanover's Old Town.

Children in front of the New Town Hall

On this guided tour of Hanover, children ages eight and up can explore the historic Old Town in a fun way. The guides tell exciting and funny stories, answer questions, and, together with the participants, uncover all sorts of secrets.

Which Twitter post made Hanover world-famous? Why did Leibniz never get to try his cookie? And where can you find real dinosaur tracks in Hanover? These and other questions make the tour a varied journey of discovery.

City Tour During School Break

During the Easter, summer, and fall breaks in Lower Saxony, the tour takes place every Tuesday and Thursday. For school classes and groups of children, “Hanover for Smart Kids” is also offered as a group tour lasting about 90 minutes.
