Three elaborately designed analog escape rooms, nine VR escape rooms, and open-access VR experience zones make this location one of the city’s most versatile indoor attractions—and the ideal choice for day visitors, overnight tourists, families, tour groups, school trips, and corporate events.

The three analog rooms take you on an expedition to the Middle Ages (Hannover Dungeon), into an enchanting world of trials for wizards young and old (Harry’s School of Magic), or into a challenging mystery involving Bitcoin, murder, and a mysterious hacker genius (The Bitcoin Conspiracy). Each room is hand-designed, furnished with attention to detail, and supervised by a real operator.

Those who prefer to immerse themselves in other realities will find nine virtual escape rooms in the VR area—ranging from Ubisoft’s Pyramid and Medusa worlds to ArviVR classics like Mission Sigma and Jungle Quest. Up to eight players can play at the same time. In addition, the VR Experience Zone offers free-to-play games like Beat Saber, Elven Assassin, and Space Pirate Trainer for anyone looking to let off some steam.

For large groups—tour groups, school trips, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and corporate incentives—we offer a combined mode for 8 to 26 people that connects multiple rooms simultaneously. For teams looking for more than just a game, Escape Hannover offers the exclusive Team Insight format: structured observation by a facilitator and an AI-powered analysis report with reflection prompts—ideal as an activity during conferences, workshops, and strategy days.

The game is hosted in German and English, so international guests will feel right at home. We are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.—regardless of the weather and all year round.
