Tulip street

Background information

Tulpen Street, like the neighboring Lilien Street, Astern Street, Nelken Street, and Flieder Street, was named after flowers because the largest gardening business in northern Germany used to be located here. It was founded around 1790 by the Brauns family.

Since only the street names remain today as a reminder of the former gardening business, flowers are intended to bring it back to life.
