The events of the Urban Art Week

Experience a week full of creativity, urban art, and music: From August 24 to 30, 2026, the Hola Utopia – Urban Art Festival will transform the BBS Glocksee in Hannover into a vibrant hub for international artists, creative workshops, and inspiring encounters. Discover impressive works of art being created right before your eyes and immerse yourself in the diverse world of urban art.

International urban art in a unique festival atmosphere

For one week, Glocksee will be all about urban art. International and local artists and crews will create large-scale murals, graffiti, and works of art live in front of an audience, transforming the festival grounds into an open-air gallery. Visitors can watch the creative process unfold up close, chat with the artists, and see how ideas are turned into impressive works of art.

The festival brings together established names from the international urban art scene with regional artists from Hannover. Among those participating are Difuz (Marseille), Rookie the Weird (Münster), Ona Salvador (Barcelona), Les Crayons (Brussels), Reinier Landwehr (Rotterdam), Birds Crew (Berlin), Iota (Brussels), Mirea and Myra (Hannover), AFC Crew (Hamburg), Home 87 (Basel), and Mayamiko (Blantyre). The lineup is rounded out by additional national and international artists

Experience art, get creative, and enjoy music

Hola Utopia not only invites visitors to marvel at the art, but also to get involved. Workshops and the Onboarding ArtSchool offer the opportunity to get creative and learn about different urban art techniques. In the Art & Gift Shop, visitors will find a selection of artworks, prints, and creative products by the participating artists.

A diverse music program also helps create the perfect festival atmosphere. Live performances by Cabhopper (USA) and Mattis (Hannover) will accompany the festival, making Hola Utopia a gathering place for art, music, and culture enthusiasts.
