Background information

The World’s Fair grounds are dedicated to Expo 2000, which took place at the Hannover Fairground. This was the first World’s Fair held in Germany.

Description of the work

The augmented reality project EXPONATE invites you to take a virtual tour of the World’s Fair grounds. The posters, inspired by the various versions of the logo, feature selected country pavilions from Expo 2000 along with a brief description. With a single tap, balloons rise into the sky in the style of the opening ceremony.
