Puzzle enthusiasts and good team players can experience a special thrill in "escape rooms": Groups are locked in a room and have 60 minutes to solve mysteries and combine clues to find the key to their escape. The first location of this kind opened in November 2014 at the "Rockhouse." Back then, Room Escape had only one room; now there are eight games—some even with multiple versions—so that 15 teams can play simultaneously: Sherlock Holmes, Inca Treasure, The Magic Stone, Time Travel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Escape the Code, Jack the Ripper, and Army Base.

At The Escape Room at 1a Röseler Straße, there are five rooms to choose from: Escape of the Pirates, Minotaur's Labyrinth, The S.A.W. Experiment, Armageddon, and 2025 – Evil Ends.

Hidden Games at Lavesstraße 80 has four adventures on offer: Die Welfenverschwörung - Adel ohne Skrupel, Timezone - vergessene Epochen, Murphy's Pub - Mission undercover and Space Odessey - verschollen im Weltall.

Since June 18, 2021, Running out of Minutes has been open in its new location in the former main freight station. The "Sherlock Holmes – The Cursed Room" escape room is currently available, and the "School of Magic – The Magical Test" room is set to open in August/September. Visitors can also play "Beat the Star" in teams.

Since early 2022, Escape Hannover has been bringing puzzle fun and virtual reality to Tiedthof: in addition to medieval, magic, and mystery rooms, there is also a VR simulation room.
