Dine like a sultan: With its elegant ambiance, the Sultan Palace enchants its guests as if in *One Thousand and One Nights*. Located in a historic building with a summer beer garden, the “Castello im Herzog Ferdinand” offers upscale Italian cuisine. The Lieblingsbar, right next to the Herrenhausen Market, entices guests with down-to-earth favorites, artfully prepared using fresh, local ingredients.

During a tour of the Herrenhausen brewery, founded in 1868, "Herri fans" and other interested parties learn interesting facts about the history and production of the traditional brewery.

Hanover International Fireworks Competition

The International Fireworks Competition takes place on five summer evenings from May through September in the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen: a highlight for everyone—featuring an exciting supporting program of live music, cabaret, dance, and theater!

The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen are always worth a visit! In the Großer Garten, time seems to slow down: you can enjoy nature, attend cultural events, or find inspiration in the Niki de Saint Phalle Grotto. Over 2,500 animals in more than 40 tanks and aquariums can be seen at SEA LIFE Hannover in the Rainforest House of the Berggarten, including sharks and sea turtles in the ocean tank.

Nature

From the Graft, it’s just a few minutes by bike to the Leine floodplain—pure nature right in the heart of Hannover. The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen invite you to marvel at their stunning plants, and the Berggarten is considered one of Germany’s oldest botanical gardens.
