How is our food actually produced? What technology is used on modern farms? And what does animal husbandry look like today?
During “Open Farm Day,” visitors can experience farming firsthand. At participating farms, the focus is on providing insights into crop cultivation, animal husbandry, and agricultural processes.
In addition to information about the farms, there is also an opportunity to talk with the people who work there and produce food for the region.
Families will also find plenty to enjoy: all participating farms offer a variety of children’s activities as well as food and drink options.
The event is open to anyone interested—from aspiring farmers to people who want to learn more about regional food production.
