Farmers' Market at Ernst-August-Platz

Twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, healthy and fresh regional produce is available directly in front of the main station - provided the space is not taken up by the Christmas market or other seasonal events.

The market offers Galloway beef and sausages, turkey and chicken from homeopathic farms, local blueberries and strawberries, potatoes and vegetables, dairy products, bread, and flowers. On Mondays, eight vendors sell their goods; on Fridays, there are twice as many. The full selection and list of vendors can be found on the Bauernmarkt Hannover website.
