Independent Theater Hannover

The Freie Theater Hannover is an association of independent theater companies that pursue unconventional, independent, and diverse artistic visions.

In 2002, the advocacy group Freie Theater Hannover (IFTH) was formed through the merger of the individual ensembles that today make up Freies Theater Hannover and work together cooperatively:

The programs of the various theaters are as diverse as they are and range from family theater to dance and performance to improv theater - the independent theaters give the audience a free choice.
