Jeremias Concert & NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra

JEREMIAS and the NDR Radio Philharmonic will take the stage together at the NDR Konzerthaus in Hanover on November 19, 20, and 21, 2026. Under the musical direction of Aurel Dawidiuk, the indie-pop band will blend its signature sound with that of a symphony orchestra. The three concerts are part of the NDR Radio Philharmonic’s “Freistil” series.

From Hanover to the big stages

The story of JEREMIAS begins in 2018 in Hanover. Four young musicians form the band, which is named after its lead singer, Jeremias Heimbach. With emotional songwriting, modern poetry, and catchy indie-pop sounds, the group develops its own musical style.

In the years that followed, JEREMIAS established itself on the German music scene and had several albums enter the charts. The band is now returning to its birthplace for a series of concerts with the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.

A Musical Encounter with Prehistory

As early as March 2026, JEREMIAS performed as a guest at the “Phil & Chill” concert series at the NDR Konzerthaus. There, the band initially presented its music without orchestral accompaniment. Jeremias Heimbach gave the audience a first glimpse of the musical possibilities of their collaboration with the song “Egoist,” accompanied by the NDR Radio Philharmonic.

The connection between singer Jeremias Heimbach and conductor Aurel Dawidiuk also goes back a long way. As children, they both sang together in the Hannover Boys’ Choir. Dawidiuk is now active in the international classical music scene and serves as music director for the Freistil concerts.
