A Small Celebration in the Great Garden

The Kleine Fest 2026 will take place from July 2 to 16, 2026—over a total of 13 evenings (except Mondays). The festival will remain true to its popular mix of acrobatics, comedy, cabaret, juggling, magic, and music. Up to 100 international artists will perform—spread across the picturesque setting of the Great Garden in Herrenhausen.

With several premieres ranging from urban dance to trapeze art, 2026 promises to be a year of artistic renewal. A special connection to the city is evident in a “Best Of” showcase of Hannover’s poetry slam scene, as well as in the HIDDEN collective—comprising musicians from Hannover—which musically represents the city’s status as a UNESCO City of Music.

A special highlight will be the new family day on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, when the picnic area opens at 3 p.m. (instead of 5 p.m.). The program starts at 4 pm and ends at 9 pm for families. This means that even the youngest guests can immerse themselves in the magical world in a relaxed manner.

The admission ticket is valid for the day of the event and the following day, and includes access to the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, the Berggarten, and the Palace Museum.
