Important milestones in Hanover's history adorn the wall of the house in Linden.
Graffiti on Grotestraße:
Artist Joy Lohmann has painted a building facade in Linden-Nord with figures and symbols from Hannover’s Wilhelminian era. It took two months to transform the facade into a public history book. The Kröpcke Clock, the founding of Hannover 96, the invention of the Bahlsen cookie, and the construction of the old market hall are all featured on the approximately 100-square-meter mural. This allows passersby to reflect on Hannover’s Gründerzeit era from 1866 to 1896 as they walk by.
