Street Art & Graffiti in Linden
Grotestraße
Important milestones in Hanover adorn the Linden house wall.
Graffiti on Grotestraße:
Artist Joy Lohmann has painted a building facade in Linden-Nord with figures and symbols from Hannover’s Gründerzeit era. It took two months to transform the facade into a public history book. The Kröpcke Clock, the founding of Hannover 96, the invention of the Bahlsen cookie, and the construction of the old market hall are all featured in the mural, which covers approximately 100 square meters. This allows passersby to reflect on Hanover’s Gründerzeit era, spanning from 1866 to 1896.
