Scheffelstrasse

Suiko, an artist based in Hiroshima, is a key figure in the Japanese street art scene and has become one of Japan’s leading graffiti artists.

His artwork stands out worldwide because it focuses on typography, blending influences from traditional calligraphy with dynamic colors, irregular shapes, and clean lines that reflect the elevated status of his work as contemporary art.Over the past 20 years, he has collaborated with major brands, including Coca-Cola, Adidas, Walt Disney, Universal Studios, HKexpress, Ecko Unltd, New Era, and Tudor, as well as with Japanese institutions such as the Okayama Astronomical Museum, Hiroshima City University, and Toride Station in Ibaraki.

This artwork is located on Scheffelstrasse / at the Uhlandstrasse Elementary School building.
