Follow the "Red Thread", a 4.2-kilometer circular route that leads to 36 sights.
The Red Thread connects Hannover’s sights and allows visitors to explore the city on their own. The route leads to major attractions, historic sites, and cultural landmarks. Clear markers throughout the city guide visitors through the Old Town and downtown areas, as well as to iconic buildings such as the New City Hall. An accompanying brochure with information about the stops is available at the tourist information office.
