The geometric (de)constructions in the work of Alf Lechner (born 1925 in Munich) reveal themselves to the viewer primarily when walking around the piece: the resulting shifts in perspective allow individual elements to dynamically give rise to ever-changing forms. The sculpture came to Hannover as part of the “Stahl 1” exhibition at Galerie kö 24.
