Exhibition

How did humanity’s dream of flying become a reality? Why do airplanes fly? In the interactive exhibition “World of Aviation,” you’ll find airplane parts you can touch, multimedia stations where you can get involved, and information panels that will amaze you. Learn all about it! The exhibition traces the history of flight—from the first attempts to fly to the present day. Here, fans become experts in no time. And that’s not just for the older visitors. On the observation deck, the Kid’s Airport awaits. Here, children can become pilots and air traffic controllers themselves.

Flight simulators: In the cockpit of the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737

What’s it like to sit in the cockpit of an airplane? Give it a try! And you don’t even need pilot training: just hop into one of the realistic flight simulators at Hannover Airport. (Advance registration required at +49 511 977-1238. Minimum age: 12.)

Visitor terrace

Where do airplanes look best from? From above, of course. That's why it's worth visiting the visitor terrace. It offers a panoramic view of the apron and the airport grounds.

You can find all that and much more at the Erlebnis-Shop in the Airport Plaza (departure level between Terminals A and B).

Mon–Fri 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed
on holidays and on Jan. 1, Dec. 24–26, and Dec. 31. Last admission 45 minutes before closing.
