Shopping on Lister Meile

The Lister Meile stretches from the Hannover-Mitte district, running alongside the main train station, through the Oststadt district until it ends at Lister Platz in the List district. The latter is also where the "Meile" gets its name. It is known for its high concentration of shops and restaurants and their diverse offerings. Boutiques and bookstores alternate with long-established stores.

After you've had your fill of shopping in the many stores and enjoyed a hearty meal at one of the restaurants, we recommend taking a walk in the nearby Eilenriede City Forest.
