In sports clubs, the focus is on togetherness

There are over 1,000 sports clubs in the city of Hannover and the surrounding Region Hannover that offer families, children, and young people a wide variety of opportunities to get active through physical exercise, play, and sports, and to improve their health.

In the club, old contacts and friendships are strengthened and new ones are encouraged - also through extracurricular activities that are fun and enjoyable. Qualified trainers create the right framework for this.

If you’re choosing a sport or looking for a specific club, the databases on the websites of the regional and city sports associations can help. With the HannoverAktivPass, young people living in the city are eligible for a waiver of club dues of up to ten euros per month (or a pro-rated amount for higher dues).
