At TKH, people of all ages and abilities find their sporting home. Whether competitive sport or popular sport, young or old - the club offers a variety of sports and exercise opportunities. The women's basketball Bundesliga team, the TKH Luchse, is an excellent example of the success and diversity that the club has to offer. The club's 3x3 basketball players also recently attracted attention with their Olympic victory. The TKH can also be proud of its gymnast Andreas Toba, who has just returned from the Olympic Games and has represented the club on the international stage. In addition, the men's volleyball team is playing very successfully in the 3rd league.
The TKH devotes particular attention to the care and education of children and young people. Young members are supported, cared for and encouraged in all-day schools and sports clubs. The TKH is actively committed to the protection of children and young people and creates safe, supportive environments for their development.
There is no place for racism, exclusion, or antisemitism in the club, because the TKH stands for democracy, tolerance, openness, and inclusion. At the TKH, barriers are being broken down step by step to give everyone access to sports activities. The TKH encourages its members to volunteer and supports its full-time staff in their professional and personal development. The club’s work is sustained by the dedication of many volunteers, who enrich and advance club life through their commitment. Throughout the Region Hannover, the TKH creates spaces for sports and learning. These spaces are not only venues for athletic activities but also community gathering places. They provide opportunities for interaction, shared experiences, and the promotion of health and well-being.
