Summer of Culture 2026

The 2026 Summer of Culture will transform the Region Hannover into one big stage. The Kultursommer is one of the most time-honored cultural festivals in the Region Hannover. From July 1 to August 30, 2026, visitors can look forward to a diverse program featuring numerous events in cities and towns throughout the region. The festival’s goal is to bring culture to extraordinary locations while highlighting the region’s cultural diversity.

The Kultursommer is organized jointly by the Culture Team of the Region Hannover and the Hannover Cultural Region Foundation. Together, they aim to raise the profile of culture throughout the region and support regional event organizers.
