Germany's maker and YouTube community is gathering for a vibrant DIY festival on August 15 and 16 at the Hannover Congress Centrum.
Maker Faire Hannover
The maker faire in Hannover is a kaleidoscope of creativity that combines a technology and science fair with a colorful DIY festival. On August 15 and 16, 2026, the Hannover Congress Centrum will serve as a stage for inventiveness and innovation for the eleventh time. Approximately 1,000 exhibitors—including many makerspaces and universities, as well as individual makers and companies—will present their projects at over 250 booths, covering topics such as 3D printing, coding, crafts, and robotics, and invite visitors to engage in both personal and professional exchanges.
As the third-largest Maker Faire in the world, this community event attracts up to 15,000 visitors and has established itself as a highlight in Hannover. It features spectacular shows and unusual ideas that inspire not only children and teens but people of all ages to explore the digital world, IT, AI, and technology. The exhibitors’ countless workshops and hands-on activities promote STEM education and offer a special place of inspiration for people of all ages.
