Open-air cinema
Hannover Vision Festival 2026
The Seh-Fest Hannover 2026 brings open-air cinema to the city.
The Seh-Fest has been one of the most popular summer events in Hannover for many years. During the festival, the Parkbühne is transformed into a large open-air movie theater. Visitors enjoy movies on a giant screen—set against the unique backdrop of the Maschsee.
The Seh-Fest Hannover 2026 will feature a diverse mix of blockbusters, comedies, family films, and special cinematic highlights from July 21 through August 15. Doors open daily at 8:00 p.m., and screenings begin around 9:30 p.m. There are no screenings on Sundays, and the cinema will also be closed on July 29 and 30 due to concerts at the Gilde Parkbühne.
Highlights of the program include, among others:
Blockbusters and New Movie Releases
- The Devil Wears Prada 2 (July 22, August 2, and August 14)
- Michael (July 24)
- The Astronaut - Project Hail Mary (August 7)
- Disclosure Day – The Day of Truth by Steven Spielberg (August 1)
Special Movie Nights
In addition to the latest movies, visitors can also look forward to special screenings such as *Verflucht normal* (August 10), *Die Ältern* (August 11), and the “French Film” surprise night (August 12).
Traditionally, the Seh-Fest ends with a family movie: On August 15, *Minions & Monsters* will be shown on the big screen.
Admission to the Seh-Fest Hannover costs 9 euros, including all fees.
