41st Wine Summer at Opernplatz in Hannover

From August 20 to 23, Opernplatz will become Hanover’s wine oasis: wine lovers and winemakers will gather in a relaxed atmosphere to taste, discuss, and celebrate.

People at wine stands in front of the Hanover Opera House — That's how atmospheric last year's Wine Summer was at Opernplatz.

Visitors can taste wines directly from the producer, learn about the journey from the vineyard to the glass and find their favorite drop. A relaxed supporting program accompanies the festival:

Thursday, 6:00 p.m.: Opening ceremony featuring Moselle Wine Queen Teresa Oster and representatives of the city of Hannover.
Friday, 4:00 p.m.: Rosé Wine Tasting.
Saturday, 4:00 p.m.: Tasting of crisp, fruity Seccos.
On all days: background music from modern pop to wine jazz & silent piano.
Birthday Promotion: Adults who have a birthday during Wine Summer and celebrate there will receive a free bottle of sparkling wine!
