You will enjoy pyro shows accompanied by music, a festive atmosphere and well-tended garden paths - an evening full of elegance.
Sweden
On September 19, 2026, Göteborgs FyrverkeriFabrik (GFF) will represent Sweden at the 34th International Fireworks Competition in Hannover. The team is one of Scandinavia’s most renowned fireworks companies and is very familiar with the competition in Herrenhausen.
For GFF, Hanover is a particularly successful venue: Martin Hildeberg has competed here five times already—and, according to the organizer, has won every time he’s competed. This means the Swedish team brings not only international experience but also a remarkable track record in Hanover.
Even before the fireworks begin, you can immerse yourself in the evening’s Swedish and Nordic-inspired atmosphere. The supporting program starts at 5:30 p.m. and will keep you entertained with light installations, street performers, music, acrobatics, and other entertainment until the fireworks begin.
Sweden - Gothenburg Fireworks Factory Göteborgs FyrverkeriFabrik (GFF) was founded in 1994 by Martin Hildeberg and Anders Hållinder and is now considered one of Scandinavia’s most renowned fireworks companies. Since winning its first international competition in Knokke-Heist in 2001, the company has established a global presence—with performances in Hannover, Rome, Montreal, San Sebastián, Shanghai, and Manila. Hannover is a particularly successful venue for GFF: Hildeberg has competed here five times—and emerged victorious every single time. He therefore associates the city with many fond memories. In addition to competitions, GFF also enhances concerts, sporting events, and festivals with innovative pyromusicals. State-of-the-art technology such as Finale 3D, Pyrodigital, and Galaxis systems ensures the highest precision—and so GFF stands for creative shows that set global standards.
