Parking guidance system

Here you will find an overview of all parking areas for the fireworks competition, as well as information on how to leave the venue after the event.

Please note that traffic restrictions will not take effect until the fireworks begin and apply only to the route leading away from the event!

There are no special regulations for the journey.

We also recommend that all visitors travel by public transport.

On the day of the event, the admission ticket is valid as a transit pass for all public transportation throughout the entire GVH fare zone (Zones ABC) from three hours before the event begins until 5:00 a.m. the following day. The "Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen" stop (Lines 4 and 5) is located right at the entrances to the fireworks competition.

Arrival by public transportation

Many visitors deliberately choose to travel by bus and train, as the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen are very well connected to public transportation.

Bus stops near the venue make it easy to get there from downtown and other parts of Hanover. Especially on days when the event is very busy, taking public transportation can be a more relaxed alternative to driving.
