Here you will find an overview of all parking areas for the fireworks competition as well as the regulations for departure after the event.

Please note that the traffic measures will only be implemented at the start of the fireworks display and only apply to the departure after the event!

There are no special regulations for the journey.

We also recommend that all visitors travel by public transport.

On the day of the event, the admission ticket is valid as a transit pass for all public transportation throughout the entire GVH fare zone (Zones ABC) from three hours before the event begins until 5:00 a.m. the following day. The “Herrenhäuser Gärten” stop (Lines 4 and 5) is located right at the entrances to the fireworks competition.

Arrival by public transportation

Many visitors deliberately choose to travel by bus and train, as the Herrenhausen Gardens are very well connected to the public transit system.

Transit stops near the event venue make it easy to get there from downtown and other parts of Hanover. Especially on days when the event is very busy, taking public transportation can be a stress-free alternative to driving.
