 Inspired by Lower Saxony's half-timbered architecture, the many different huts create a rustic atmosphere and ensure a peaceful Advent season at the Hanover Christmas Market.

Pure nostalgia meets virtual reality

More than 50 vendors offer their wares, lovingly displayed in nostalgic huts: original gift ideas, artisans—some of whom demonstrate their craft on-site for the public—and, of course, an extensive and high-quality selection of food and drink. The selection is vast and varied. A ride on the historic Ferris wheel offers a view stretching far beyond Hanover, decked out in Christmas decorations, or out over the twinkling lights of the Roncalli Christmas Village. And when a very special Christmas story is projected onto the historic facade of the main train station, young and old alike delight in the festive, Christmassy atmosphere.
