Die Fantastischen Vier – Farewell Concert in Hannover

Die Fantastischen Vier are ending their music career and will bid farewell to their fans with a final concert on December 19, 2026, in Hannover.

Michi Beck, Thomas D, Smudo, and And.Ypsilon—known as “Fanta 4”—can look back on a 36-year music career

Pioneers of German Hip-Hop

Die Fantastischen Vier are still the same four pioneers today who helped hip-hop break through in Germany. In 1991, they released “Jetzt Geht’s Ab,” the first German-language hip-hop album, before pulling off a historic coup the following year with “Die da!?!?” They were the first German-language rap group to make it into the top ten of the German charts and to be played nonstop on the radio.

Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck, and And.Ypsilon proved that German-language rap can be authentic, intelligent, humorous, and accessible to a mass audience. As one of the few bands from Germany, they managed to release albums over four decades, each of which reached the top of the charts. With hits like “MFG,” “Troy,” “Sie ist weg,” “Tag am Meer,” and “Zusammen,” they created the soundtrack for several generations and filled arenas, stadiums, and open-air venues.

Farewell Tour “The Last Bus”

After more than three decades as a band, over a thousand concerts, and countless nights on the bus, the quartet will go on tour one last time in 2026. The farewell tour, “Der letzte Bus” (The Last Bus), will take Die Fantastischen Vier across Germany one last time. The tour will last at least 18 months so that the band can stop at as many venues as possible that they have visited before. In Hannover, Die Fantastischen Vier’s tour bus will pull up one last time on December 19, 2026, in front of the ZAG Arena.
