Street Mag Show Hannover 2026

Germany's largest American Car & Harley Show returns to the Schützenplatz on June 5 and 6.

Impressive street cruisers at Hannover's Schützenplatz

For the 37th time, motorized gems from the entire history of American vehicles from the 1930s to the 1980s will gather on the Schützenplatz during the event weekend. Alongside 50s road cruisers such as the legendary Cadillacs, lovingly restored Chevrolets, Fords and Chryslers, refined Corvettes and hot rods, high-horsepower muscle cars, tuned street machines, the popular Mustangs and many rare US makes and models will be on display, making the hearts of fans beat faster.

What competitions are there at the Street Mag Show in Hannover?

Individual vehicles will be presented to the public on the presentation stage. At the same time, a Show'n'Shine competition will take place throughout the day, in which the vehicles will be judged by a panel of experts. On Sunday afternoon, the most original and most beautiful vehicles from over 20 classes will be awarded prizes.

Will there be stunt shows again?

Yes, so far the Showskating Girls and Germany's drag legend Micha Vogt have been announced.

The Showskating Girls are a unique team of showgirls who combine a passion for the 1950s with a love of roller skating. With every performance, they bring the charm, elegance, and spirit of that era back to the stage—dynamic, stylish, and full of energy. Their athletic foundation lies in roller figure skating—a fascinating yet often underrated discipline that resembles figure skating and combines technical precision with flowing elegance. Sophisticated choreography, harmonious formations, and impressive figures come together to create a show that captivates both athletically and artistically. The Showskating Girls also bring top-tier stage experience to the table: performances in the renowned musical “Starlight Express,” among others, underscore their professionalism and exceptional skill.

Micha "Fullspeed" Vogt has been one of Germany's best-known drag racers for decades. He competed in his first street races at the age of 19 - the starting signal for a passion that still drives him today: Drag racing in its purest form. Since then, Micha has been racing on circuits all over Europe - from Germany to Sweden and Switzerland to England - and thrilling fans with spectacular acceleration races. This season, Micha will once again go full throttle with his legendary burnout wonder, the Studebaker "Nautilus" - loud, powerful and absolutely unforgettable.

Which bands provide the music?

Three bands have been announced for the event, with The Spikes and Jumpin' Rockets two of them already scheduled.

  • Friday, June 5: The Spikes
The Spikes are a rockabilly quartet with over 30 years of concentrated stage experience. Rooted in the heart of the German rockabilly scene, the band unites musicians from renowned formations such as The Pinstripes, Mad Guz & The Mojos, The Booze Bombs, The Memphis Gang and Rattle in the Box. Since their foundation in 1993, The Spikes have continuously developed and established themselves as a permanent fixture in modern rock'n'roll culture - both nationally and internationally. Their trademark: rousing live shows, authentic 50s sound and a stage energy that reignites the spirit of classic rockabilly.
  • Saturday, June 6: Jumpin' Rockets
The Jumpin' Rockets bring the unmistakable 50s feeling back to the present - powerful, stylish and with plenty of groove. Their repertoire ranges from classics à la Elvis Presley and Johnny Kidd & The Pirates to Imelda May. But instead of mere cover versions, they give each song their very own sound and a fresh, energetic touch. In addition to reinterpreted rock'n'roll anthems, their own rockabilly compositions get the dance floor moving. With catchy hooks, an authentic vintage sound and the spirit of the rock'n'roll forefathers, the Jumpin' Rockets combine tradition with contemporary power

Is the event suitable for children or families?

Families will also find plenty to enjoy: a children’s program ensures that the event is a special destination for young and old alike. In addition to a bouncy castle and face painting, a Bobby Car race track will once again be set up for our young motor enthusiasts. After a wild ride around the “race track,” the kids can even wash their cars at the car wash.
“We don’t just want to appeal to the scene, but create an event for everyone—for families, friends, and anyone who wants to experience extraordinary vehicles and a special atmosphere,” explains organizer Anna Kuczora.
