FAHMODA offers students the opportunity to learn a “true craft,” enabling them to create a fashion outfit from design through pattern-making to production, all tailored to the exact measurements. The fact that this can be combined with a professional business administration degree over eight semesters is certainly one reason why FAHMODA will continue to be regarded as one of the top institutions in the textile industry in the future.

Graduates are also well-prepared for the global market. Study abroad programs and internships abroad are part of the program, as is the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree in design at an international university.

For example, in the future, graduates will not only be able to design and produce a final collection on their own, but also use a professional business plan to assess its market potential.

The FAHMODA Academy is a state-accredited private fashion school specializing in fashion design and custom tailoring. Founded in 2003, it has since grown into a recognized and successful institution within the textile industry. Thanks to the exceptionally high quality of its education, FAHMODA is now considered one of the best fashion schools in Germany. The holistic, interdisciplinary education at the highest level is tailored to the demands of today: the combination of tradition and innovation, creativity and fashion management, craftsmanship and fashion design.

What sets FAHMODA apart

In collaboration with PFH Private University of Applied Sciences Göttingen, FAHMODA has successfully developed a training program that is unique and exclusive in Germany, creating an extraordinary synergy between fashion and business administration. This innovative training program offers a groundbreaking and unprecedented future in the fashion industry and ensures long-term career success.

Starting in the 2018–19 winter semester, FAHMODA has offered students the option to acquire business management expertise alongside their artistic and technical training. The business administration courses are delivered using state-of-the-art blended learning concepts. According to current plans, this will allow students to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in just eight semesters, in addition to the existing training model leading to certification as a state-certified fashion designer and a journeyman’s certificate in the tailor’s trade.

For example, in the future, the final collection will not only be designed and produced independently, but its market potential will also be assessed through a professional business plan. There are three training models to choose from.
