Recruitment of young talent

The demand for skilled workers is on the rise, and recruiting well-trained staff is becoming increasingly difficult. That is why the Handwerkskammer Hannover supports small and medium-sized craft businesses in Hannover and the surrounding region in finding the right candidates for apprenticeship positions and in integrating foreign skilled workers. The members of the Talent Acquisition Team

• advise and assist member businesses in their search for qualified young talent
• create detailed job descriptions and customized, informative, and multimedia-rich apprenticeship postings
• will publish apprenticeship and internship opportunities on the Hannover Chamber of Crafts’ online job board
• promote open apprenticeship positions in schools and at many trade shows and events, such as the Apprentice Speed Dating event
• connect companies with suitable trainees
• support training companies by providing suggestions, useful materials, and attractive continuing education opportunities to enhance the quality of training
