How can food and its packaging be produced in a way that protects the environment and conserves resources?
How can digital technologies be used efficiently in production?
The new Future Food Systems program at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts addresses the challenges in the field of food and packaging technology. Within the program, food and its packaging are viewed as an integrated system.
The aim is to train engineers with expertise in food and packaging technology as well as in economics and ecology. The degree program is practice-oriented with a mixture of lectures, seminars, exercises, case studies and internships.
Future Food Systems offers excellent career prospects, as well-trained graduates are in demand. Most of them work in the food industry, as well as in related industrial sectors such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
